The Mime is an enemy to Batman and the daughter of a fireworks salesman. Growing up with her father's products, Camilla Ortin developed a disdain for loud noises that turned into an obsession with silence when her parents died in a fireworks factory explosion. Ortin studied the art of mime and started her own show under the stage name of Camilla Cameo. When her show went bankrupt, she became the villain known as the Mime, who aims to rid Gotham City of loud noises through acts like stealing bell clappers from churches or sabotaging rock concerts.
